Coastal road Commisioning Date

Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway Phase 1 section set for May 2025 completion, 5-10 years tolling to follow.

The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has announced that the first section of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is set to be completed by May 29, 2025, after which it will be tolled for 5 to 10 years to recover construction costs.

The construction of this first phase, which stretches 47.7 km within Lagos State, starting from Ahmadu Bello Way, commenced in March 2024 by Hitech Construction Company Limited.

Umahi made this disclosure during a recent event televised by Channels Television.

“The first section of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is going to be completed by May 29th and and we are going to toll it and we're going to get back our money within 5 to 10 years,” Umahi said.

The Works Minister further disclosed that in addition to tolling, the Federal Government is planning to implement additional initiatives, including developing land along the corridor for tourism, factories, and housing, as part of efforts to further enhance returns on the project.

Maybe when I die I will release it. However this footage below is an example of what our time in Iraq was. We as Americans and Coalition forces invaded a land and people under false pretense of WMDs that were never found and dangers to America that did not exist. 

There is a famous quote that states, "History is written by the victors." This is what the west has tried to deliver to the world. The truth is America and Coalition forces were the bad guys, we were not the good guys. What did we accomplish in our over 20 year invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan? 

We killed over one million people and secured power for Israel along with losing over seven thousand American lives and leaving countless Americans permanently disabled. 

I will not hold back the truth because now our American government seeks the same thing. They seek to send Americans into war for Israel and regional power but the soldiers will be told it is to defend America. 

Ask any Iraq/Afghanistan veteran why we were there, ask them. Any veteran of these wars that are honest and worth their salt will tell you just as I do, we fought for nothing. There was no threat to America and the people were better off before we invaded. 

Any veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan that says these invasions were justified is lying, I will absolutely stand by that and any bastard who was there who says otherwise I will call a liar to their face. 

So here we are again, heros heading to the Middle East to fight and die for Israel. Yes, Israel, nothing less, nothing more, just Israel 🇮🇱.  

People call me un-American for being this way, but do you know my response? I spit on you, for supporting this, I spit in your face. I say YOU are un-American for sending OUR boys to die for politicians and Israel. YOU give OUR lives not for America but for Israel and you dare call ME un-American? My words, my actions do not require American lives, YOURS DO you bastards! 

Where is HAMAS in America? Where is Hezbollah in America? Where? Exactly, they do not exist here.

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has given its endorsement for the building of 40 houses designated for judges and justices in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, shared this information with reporters at the State House in Abuja following the Federal Executive Council meeting led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The initiative, which is a component of the government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, seeks to ensure that judges have access to safe and comfortable housing.

He said, “Also for the importance that the President attach to the Judiciary, he finds it difficult how judges and Justices will be living in rented houses and hotels, that is not safe for our judicial officials, not convenient for them to do their work and do the President directed that the FCT through the FCDA should immediately construct 40 numbered judges and Justices quarters at Kantampe district.

“What it means is that out of these 40 FCT high courts which is like the FCT court will have 20, the federal high court Will have ten and the court of Appeal will have ten and this will be completed in fifteen months’ time.“

Dangote to build New Lekki - Sagamu road

The Federal Government has granted approval for a contract valued at N158 billion to build service lanes connecting the Lekki Deep Sea Port to the Shagamu-Benin Expressway via Epe.

Dangote will be awarded the through the Federal Government's Road Infrastructure Development Fund and the Refurbishment Investment Tax Credit Scheme.
