DAINI VISITS BANANA Estate igbe town
The residents of Banana estate in igbe town one of the towns within Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA on the border with Ijede LCDA had recently been having the problem of encroachment on it by Ijede LCDA to the extent that a part of the Banana estate CDA had been annexed by Ijede LCDA.
In other to check the expansionist motif of Ijede LCDA on the igbe town which traditionally belonng to igbogbo town, the newly installed Baale of Igbe laara, one the several Community that made up igbe town which we heard has ten different division, Chief Rasaq Adewale Banjoko and other Elders of the remaining 9 Igbe towns insisted that the administrative head of the LCDA must come and see things first hand so as to inform the state government on the situation of things before it gets out of hand.
On the visit with the Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA chairman was the Vice Chairman Hon. Titilola Adegboyega
2- Chief of Staff- Mr Bolowotan Adewale.
On ground to welcome the delegation were
- Baale Laara- Chief Banjoko Adekola Rasaq
- Secretary Laara Family- Chief Ganiu Okeshola
- Chief Adaran Shamsideen member Laara Elders Council.
The Banana estate Chairman in person of Comrade Badmus with some of his executives which include Vice CDA Chairman Mr Sunday Etsu, The Secretary Mr Gabriel Akinwale, Hadji Wasiu, Mrs Mariam Onitolo (the CDA woman Leader), Prince Adeboye Adetu and a large number of residents were on ground to receive the august delegation since this is the first time the LCDA chairman will be visiting the CDA having been invited during the commissioning of their 500kva transformer which was done on the 5th of May 2019, the LCDA chairman was then represented by his vice Hon. Titilola Adegboyega.
The LCDA chairman inspected the two exits in the CDA that joins Tinubu estate at oke eletu and the Agungi link done with planks through Community help by the residents with little influence of the chairman of ijede LCDA that exits at Abule Eko on Ijede road at Abule Eko.
After inspecting the two links way which are still undeveloped, the Chairman igbogbo Bayeku LCDA promised to extend the presence of the Council to the are and that he would let the Lagos state government know about the existence of the two link roads that could at as a relieve to the almost abandoned bola Tinubu/ igbe road that exits at Ginti on itamaga ijede road.
